This statue of St. George, crafted in pewter, stands 3 1/2" tall.
While all that is known for certain of St. George is that he was a soldier and martyr, he is depicted in this statue piercing a dragon with a lance, based on a popular legend of St. George killing a serpent or dragon in the country of Libya.
