Lizzie Velasquez is a Communications major at Texas State University in San Marcos. She is one of only three individuals in the world known to have an undiagnosed syndrome that prevents the body from gaining weight or creating muscle. She is a motivational speaker who has presented more than 200 workshops and co-author of the autibiographical, Lizzie Beautiful.
Her online media presence is undeniably strong. Lizzie's YouTube channel has received more than three million views. One of hter most viewed videos is her contribution to the It Gets Better Project, which focuses on spreading a positive message against teen bullies.
