This is a new edition of Fr. Green's classic work on prayer which was originally published over 20 years ago.
With over 170,000 copies sold, When the Well Runs Dry has been a source of wisdom and guidance for people serious about prayer. Now a revised edition makes Fr. Thomas Green's classic work available to a new generation seeking guidance in prayer. He offers a clear explanation of what the difficulties and consolations of mature prayer are all about. He makes the wisdom of Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross, and Ignatius of Loyola accessible.
