[1384-1440], was a faithful and devoted wife for forty years, served the poor, the ill and endured many trials. She founded a community of Benedictine Oblates, which she joined 3 years later after her husband died. She had the gift of healing, visions and revelations and was devoted to her Guardian Angel, whom she often saw (as a child of eight) walking with her. For this reason, she is the Patron of Motorists. She is also the patron of widows. Her feast is March 9.
