I also got the part wrong about the media and people on all sides of the political spectrum calling for her apology and resignation. So far, I can only find one mention of this conversation when doing a search on Google News. Not one major news outlet is covering it. But you know, there are far worse things, like name calling (16,300 entries) to be focusing on than someone who implied that a specific religious group should be barred from the political process.
A similar tirade by Eleanor Clift at Newsweek basically says the same thing as Rosie did but manages to be smart enough to only imply religion instead of outright saying it.
