There has been a lot of news lately about the new Missal translation that has been posted on the USCCB website. Since this is a much bigger change than a word here and there and includes some major changes to the congregation's responses at Mass, you are most likely going to want to purchase a new missal in the next couple of years.
Unfortunately, missals aren't cheap and you might have already invested $25-$100 in your current missal. You may also want a missal now but don't want to have to buy another one in two years when the new editions are released.
Several months ago we introduced the Missal Shield program which will give all of our customers a 15% off coupon for a new missal if you buy a missal from us before the new translation is released – and this applies to people who have bought one from us at any point in the past, too – from either Aquinas and More or Catholic Church Supply!
Missals are great tools for following along during Mass, or having convenient access to the prayers and readings for daily Masses you might not be able to attend in person. You shouldn’t have to wait a year or two just to start using this prayer tool. If you don’t currently have a missal and want one, but are concerned about buying two missals at full price in the span of a few years, then Aquinas and More has the answer – with the Missal Shield, you’re covered!
