About the Author
Father Alfred McBride, O.Praem. is the author of Our Sunday Visitor's best-selling catechisms, Essentials of the Faith, Teen Catechism, Celebrating the Mass, the Holy Eucharist Prayer Book, and Guide to the Bible. Well respected in religious education circles, Father McBride was head of the religious education department of the NCEA, and, in his retirement, he is a contributor to Relevant Radio.
