From Passover to Eucharist
First Eucharist Play for Families
Item Number: 17152
This First Eucharist Play and Keepsake Album has a space for the child to record the names of people who shared his/her special day, who played which part and other notes about the celebration. Instructions are included for serving a Passover meal.
This unique family celebration is a play, designed for families to act out a home. The play enables cast members to learn about the Passover meal, then experience how Jesus forever transformed the Passover Lamb into the Paschal Feast.
Presented in a keepsake format that also enables the First Communicant to record memories of the special celebration, the play is intended to be a simplistic but useful tool in uniting families while educating chidlren about the historical roots of the sacrifice of the Mass. As all members partake in the sacred elements of a Passover meal, they also experience the character of Jesus creating the new covenant with his disciples, using unleavened bread and wine.
