About the Author: Bishop Fulton J. Sheen (1895-1979) was one of the most famous and best-loved religious leaders of modern times. As head of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, he did much to promote the foreign missions of the Church; as a radio and television personality, he had a faithful following of millions; as an author, he wrote over 30 best sellers. A man of deep intellect and profound spirituality, he was blessed with the happy facility of being able to present the sublime mysteries of the Christian Gospel in a language that the modern age understands. The Eternal Galilean — a fresh and vigorous retelling of the life of Christ — is one of the most inspiring of his works, which have won a cherished place in the hearts and minds of people of all faiths.
