Choosing a Catholic Calendar

 

 

 

We all need to keep track of dates and appointments somehow; why not do so with a Catholic calendar? Aquinas and More’s selection of wall calendars are primarily designed to serve the functions of keeping track of the dates of the month and holy days, providing some Catholic information and beautiful art, and being a place to jot down a few important personal dates, such as birthdays and anniversaries. The calendar grids on our Catholic wall calendars are chock full of Catholic dates and feast day information. The 2009 God’s Universe calendar is a large sized (12” by 12” when closed) calendar of beauty. Simply graceful, each month an incredible image from the Hubble telescope is paired with a quote on science and God from some of the finest scientific minds in history. This calendar is more basic; it does not have the extra information regarding all the feast days of the saints so it can be easier to use for writing down important dates without getting overly cluttered.

 

The Beauty of Grace Calendar of Indulgences wall calendar is more than a calendar – it is also a devotional tool. This calendar contains information on what indulgences are, as well as month by month guides for prayer and how to obtain indulgences. All major feast days and Holy days of obligation are listed, as well as a guide as to when to fast or abstain from meat. Each month includes an inspirational Catholic image as well as a mini-article on basic defense of the faith – one topic per month.
