In this book, I have tried to take gospel cameos and reflect upon them. These cameos are from the New Testament, from the life of Jesus Christ. I have tried to explain what must have happened during the event; I have attempted to bring the events to life. Then, in the second section to each of the chapters, I attempt to engage the Lord Jesus in dialogue. The Lord speaks first and tells the reader (or listener) about His own feelings and attitudes with reference to the cameo event. The reader then has the opportunity to speak to and with Jesus. This makes for an event we call contemplation. In the event, the reader has a wonderful opportunity to grow in understanding of life with Jesus. Keep in mind that love is based on knowledge of the Beloved of Jesus Christ. Having heard and experienced Jesus we now may "interact" with Him and grow more deeply in our own dependence on Him and His values. - From the Introduction
"Msgr Jeremiah Kenney's priesthood has touched the lives of many people. EWTN was pleased to have Msgr. Kenney as a guest on Mother Angelica Live, at which time his love for the Blessed Virgin Mary was obvious. Congratulations to Msgr. Kenney on his new book, Trust Jesus, and may the Blessed Virgin Mary intercede with her Son for the success of Trust Jesus, for the salvation of many souls." - Rev. Mr. R. William Steltemeier, President, EWTN
