This unique sterling silver oval Doctor/Surgeon medal has Sts. Cosmas and Damien on the front and the medical symbol on the back.  Measures 1in. x 3/4in.  The medal comes with an 24in. stainless chain in a gray velvet gift box. Call us about 22kt. gold-filled and 14kt. gold versions of this medal!

Many fables grew up about the brothers, connected in part with their relics. Died: martyred c.303 Damian is the twin brother of Saint Cosmas.
