This unique round sterling medal depicts St. Christina. St. Christina was from a wealthy pagan family of Rome and when she converted as a young girl, she destroyed the idols in the family home. Her father tried to kill her by drowning her but was unsuccessful. Under order of Diocletian, she was shot with arrows. Her feast day is July 24th. The medal is 3/4in. in diameter and comes on a 20in. stainless steel chain in a velvet gift box.
