This book of Shorter Christian Prayer, which is an abbreviated version of the Liturgy of the Hours, has a maroon flexible cover with a stylized Chi Rho imprinted in the center. The pages containing the Morning and Evening Prayer for the Four Week Psalter are edged in maroon and the section containing the selected texts for the Seasons and Major Feasts of the year are edged in white. The words: "Shorter Christian Prayer" are in gold lettering on the cover. The spine reads: "Shorter Christian Prayer " in gold. It comes with a maroon ribbon marker.
The Shorter Christian Prayer contains Morning and Evening Prayer from the Four Week Psalter and selected texts for the Seasons and Major Feasts of the year. It is ideal for Parish use.
