"PETRA" is the result of the recent collaboration between LEADER GROUP and the well-known fresco painter Elvio Marchionni.  A collection of fragments of images filtered and stolen from time, shrouded by transparent and unreal colours in a spellbinding and enchanting play of lights.

"Fragments" of Renaissance life, of ancient landscapes and frescoes: these works evoke memories from the past, enhancing their recondite and suggestive fascination.

Each picture is created in Elvio Marchionni artistic workshop with slate and alabaster powders.  The paintings is exclusively hand-made using ancient mediaeval techniques which confer to the piece a distinctive mark of an exclusive work of art.
