At times, perhaps unconsciously, we are inclined to think that our Lady is more to be admired than imitated. In this book, Fr. Suarez, along with studying the life, character, thoughts and piety of our Lady, also compares her moral and religious attitude to our own, focussing special attention on certain specific problems - for instance, vocation in whatever state and condition we find ourselves. His deep analysis of all the gospel text tells us helps us to understand our Lady from both aspects: the supernatural and the human. In this way she appears to us in the right perspective, as a privileged person to whom much was given, but also from whom more was asked than from anyone else.
