In an age when there is so much emptiness through the pursuit of every thing to the exclusion of God, Mary appears as the New Ark of the Covenant. What humanity foolishly pushed away, the New Eve recaptures what the human heart will always thirst and hunger for. With maternal concern, she invites us anew to be living receptacles of the indwelling of the Trinity. Her joy is to be our joy in radiating the affirming nature of the Son, the Spirit, and the Father, wondrously illustrated respectively by the Eucharist, the Dove of Light, and the clothing with the warmth of the Sun. Mary's crown is not seven crystals, rather seven liquid teardrops. Several of her many sorrows embraced in union with her Son for our Redemptive Healing. If we but follow Mary's example, our tears of sadness will be turned into eternal tears of joy.
