For any sincere Roman Catholic, Fr. Fernandez' work is monumental, combining the daily readings of the holy sacrifice of the mass with the writings of St. Jose Marie Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei, and other Catholic classics. While not a member of Opus Dei, I was priveleged to have an Opus Dei spiritual director at UCLA some 20 years ago while an undergraduate.
