This beautiful icon of the magnificent Guardian Angel holding a cross and sword measures 3 in. x 4 in. The icon is on wood.

 General Description:

At baptism, each of us receives a Guardian Angel, a holy messenger of God, whose sole purpose it is to steer us towards the Heavenly Kingdom by constantly prodding our conscience, fighting off attacking enemies with a sword, and teaching us how to think, feel, and act in a godly manner.  This contemporary Byzantine style icon is from Holy Trinity Monastery.
