Cornel Wilde stars in this fine epic production of the story of the
great Constantine who becomes Emperor of Gaul in 303 A.D. and declares
the Edict of Tolerance. He rallies his forces to defeat the Roman
legions, thus assuring freedom of worship to the persecuted Christians.
A widescreen version filmed in Italy, also staring Christine Kaufman.
Leonard Maltin gives it a 3-star rating.
