About the Authors:
Father Joseph Ponessa S.S.D. holds a doctorate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome (the Biblicum), which requires mastery of nine languages. Father is fluent in thirteen languages including Hebrew, Greek, Latin, and Aramaic. He serves as a pastor in Eastern Montana and, in addition to being a contributing author for the Come and See, Bible study series, teaches the series in three parishes and in prison ministry.
Laurie Watson Manhardt earned a PhD in education from the University of Michigan. She is a Catholic wife and mother and teaches Bible study in her home and parish of St. Helen’s in Vero Beach, Florida.
