This is a reproduction of the striking icon of Christ blessing which was painted by Monk Michael from Karyes on Mount Athos in 1989. Christ blesses as the Great High Priest with His hand formed to shape the Greek letters "IC XC". the abbreviation for the Greek letters for Jesus Christ.
Sizes are approximate.
This reproduction print is mounted on a wood plank as is tradtional for the Byzantine style.
