This prayer book for Catholic men and women in the U.S. military features reflections written by a military chaplain, plus traditional Catholic prayers, including a morning and evening prayer. Each reflection includes Scripture, a brief story to inspire, a call to meditate on the Scripture and on the story, and a question for the reader to ponder on how this relates to one's daily life.
Rev. Michael Ortiz is a retired U.S. Army colonel who served as chaplain for Special Forces, the 82nd Airborne, infantry units, and went through Command and General Staff College as well as the Army War College. He participated in the Vietnam, Panama, and Desert Storm military actions.
