By the time Mel Gibson's The Passion of Christ opened on Ash Wednesday of 2004 the liberal media had been accusing Mel Gibson of everything from anti-semitism to anti-ecumenical to promotion of pornographic violence. The media also charged that the movie was one sided, tasteless, and inaccurate. Is it really these things that are the issue or is it a terror of the truth of the Gospel?
