The CD, Voices: Gregorian Chant from Avignon, is quite simply on of the most beautiful recordings of Gregorian chant performed by Nuns I have ever heard.
      To hear their beautiful voices soar above the earth in celestial songs and hymns of adoration to God, and in praise of the Blessed Virgin, and the Saints, is a unique experience exclusive to the Catholic Church alone. Gregorian chant is the most sacred of music, and performed excellently is truly pleasing to God.
The Nuns of Avignon have provided us with a crystal clear recording of these hymns of praise the sound of which is unique to them, in their style and performance. It's a shame that chant is not in most churches and Parishes as what it used to be.
