There is little doubt that middle schoolers are in an often confusing time of quest and discovery, especially with issues concerning their bodies, their sexuality, and their future.  There are countless sources - from the airwaves, to peers, to the internet - ready to provide "answers."  Parent and educators know they can have the best influence when it comes to issues of chastity and morality, but many feel ill-equipped to address the topic.

Following the successful format of the Theology of the Body for Teens program for high school students, we are very pleased to announce the release of the Middle School Edition, specifically designed for 6th through 8th grades.  If you are familiar with the Teens program, you will instantly recognize and appreciate the format of the Theology of the Body for Teens: Middle School Edition, as it too uses a great mix of stories, real-life examples, activities, prayers, and references to the culture that are relevant to the lives of the youth.

This can be used as a stand alone program, but works perfectly as a precursor to the Teens program.  The 8-session middle school program includes a Leader's Guide, a Student Work book, a Parents Guide, and an exciting and dynamic DVD component. (Sold separately or as a pack.)

About the Parent’s Guide

The Parent's Guide serves as an excellent and informative overview of the TOB for Teens: Middle School Edition curriculum. While it has been specifically written for parents of students participating in the program, it will help any parent learn more about the Theology of the Body so that they may pass this life-changing message on to their sons and daughters.

The Middle School Edition Parent's Guide includes:

• Summaries of each of the 8 chapters of the Student Workbook.
• A basic intro to the Theology of the Body for parents, as well as an understanding of what their sons and daughters will be learning when they participate in the program.
• Study questions at the end of each chapter for parents to discuss with their sons and daughters.
• Family applications to help the parent create and foster a Theology of the Body culture in the home.
