Review Provided By TiberRiver.com - THE Catholic Book Review Site

This item received 5 stars overall. The best version of the best Missal on the market...

Okay I pretty much missed Vatican II in that I left Catholicism at age 15, the same year the Mass became entirely in English and 70's style English at that.

When I returned in 2005, I would have been lost without the Daily Roman Missal (the earlier version). It included Mass readings for every day of the year and many optional Feasts, as well as an extensive section of prayers (well over 200 pages), an examination of conscience for Reconcilation/Confession, and much, much more.

BUT--in 2011, as most of us now realize, the Mass has changed again--not in essence but in detail. Not only are the people's responses somewhat revised, but also the priestly prayers and other details. This Missal covers it all admirably, as well as having a side-by-side Latin translation of the Order of the Mass and again that wonderful section of prayers in Full Review...
