 Our Description

This lovely and finely detailed statue of St. Apolonia is made of wood paste with glass eyes. Meticulously hand made in Spain using the same process from when the company started in 1880. It is hand-painted with oil colours so no two statues will look exactly the same. Notice the incredible attention to detail on every part of the statue. A true work of art!

Detail will vary according to size of statue ordered. This is available in sizes from 8 - 24 inches.

Each statue is made to order and delivery time usually takes 6 to 12 weeks. Refunds are not available because each statue is custom made for you.

    Consecrated virgin. Deaconess. During an anti-Christian uprising in Alexandria, Egypt caused by a pagan prophecy, the mob seized Apollonia as a leader among the local Christians. After her teeth were broken with pincers, she was given the choice of renouncing Christ or being burned alive; she leapt onto the fire herself. Martyr.
