This book, Theology for Beginners by Frank Sheed, was a supplementary book for a Theology course I took in my freshman year of college. Looking at the title, ‘Theology for Beginners,’ I thought this book would be a quick, easy read. I was wrong. The book is a hard read because it is addressing topics that are hard for the mind to grasp.
 
The chapters devoted to the Trinity were the hardest for me to get through. I knew what the Trinity was before I started this book and it is still hard for me to grasp. Theological topics are often deep and hard to grasp at first, it a book on theology was simplified so much so that it could be easily grasped, you wouldn’t learn anything from reading it. ‘Theology for Beginners’ is packed with so much that I know that I spent a lot of time in Chapel while reading it so that I could meditate Full Review...
