A Catholic Woman's Book Of Days
Amy Welborn

Finding God every day

God is present to us in ways too numerous to count. Unfortunately, we are often so busy that we fail to recognize and respond to this active presence. A Catholic Woman's Book of Days offers daily meditations that clear a spiritual place - a time in our day when we can set our hearts on God. The meditations are brief, pointed, direct, and personal - and will connect you to God's word and the Catholic faith.

Amy Welborn's books include The Words We Pray: Rediscovering the Richness of Traditional Catholic Prayers and  Loyola Kids Book of Saints. She lives with her family in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

I wanted to know if Welborn’s Book of Days was special, if it stood out from the rest. My inkling that it might offer valuable food for good meditation stemmed from her explicit target audience, of which I was a part: Catholic women. She placed the utmost importance on focusing on women’s spiritual needs, and I was drawn to that.

Hers became my daily reading, my daily spiritual refresher, God’s voice, my energy boost. Unlike other daily prayer guides, this one kept me coming back each morning, noon, and night—especially those times when the baby was asleep and I could focus completely on a conversation with Christ.

The truth is, sometimes the Bible just seems so gargantuan, Full Review...
