The age of martyrs didn't end when the Constantine legalized Christianity. The church has continued to bear persecution in its entire 2000 year history. The twentieth century has seen some of the greatest atrocities committed against Catholics under Communists, Muslims, Hindus, and even other Christians. Yet, the Faith is kept and those who died continue to inspire the living.
