Latin Mass Missals and Resources

While most people are familiar with the paperback disposable missalettes that can be found in most Catholic parishes, the comfort of having your own personal missal with all of the readings and Mass texts is a comfort and convenience lost over the past couple of generations.

I still have my grandmother's missal with all of her holy cards scattered throughout and the missals that were given to my dad and aunts and uncles, probably as First Communion gifts.

While being able to read and reflect on the readings before going to Mass is a great advantage to having your own daily missal, when you attend a Latin Mass where almost everything is spoken or sung exclusively in Latin, having your own missal becomes a necessity.

The St. Andrew Daily Missal is one of the most popular Latin Mass missals but lacks the changes made to the Easter Triduum that happened in the 1950's. The Roman Missal from Baronius Press and the Roman Catholic Daily Missal from Angelus Press have the most current changes to the Tridentine liturgy.
