Great Books (The Classics)

The Great Books category features the works which have shaped Catholicism and the world.  Included are "the Classics of Western Civilization", such as The Iliad, which are the important works that have historically formed the basis of learning in the Western world, the foundation of a Classical education. Commentaries on the Great Books are also included in this category.

In this category you'll also find the Spiritual Classics of the Catholic Church.  These books include many of the works of the Doctors of the Church and well-known books like Abandonment to Divine Providence and The Imitation of Christ.
