Divine Mercy Sterling MedalOn February 22, 1931, a young Polish nun named Faustina was granted a vision of Christ.  He was dressed in a white robe with His right hand raised in blessing and His left hand pulling back his robe at the breast revealing His Heart.  From His Heart were two rays, one white and the other red. He told her to paint what she saw and spread it throughout the world to be venerated by all people.  Below the image were to be the words "Jesus, I trust in You."  He said:  "I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish. I also promise victory over its enemies already here on earth, especially at the hour of death. I Myself will defend it as My own glory… ". The white ray stands for the water which makes souls righteous. The red ray stands for the Blood which is the life of souls... "  Divine Mercy Sunday is now celebrated the first Sunday after Easter and is preceded by the Divine Mercy Novena which begins on Good Friday.  See our wide selection of Divine Mercy gifts in addition to our collection of Divine Mercy medals.  All sterling and gold medals come with a lifetime warranty.
