Advent Wreaths and Candles

You've probably had this experience.  You see Advent candles for sale at your local craft store and decide to pick up a set because they only cost a couple bucks.  On the First Sunday of Advent you light the first candle and are disappointed at the end of dinner because it has already burned down an inch and left a mess of white wax all over your table cloth.
