Would You Buy a Poster With the Revised Creeds

One of our vendors has created proofs for new posters with the revised Nicene and Apostles’ Creeds on them. He hasn’t sent them to production because he is worried that there won’t be enough interest. Please vote in our survey to let him know if you would buy one.

I could use posters for most of the proposed changes: the creeds, the Gloria, and the Confiteor. I teach in a Catholic school and would place them around the classroom. But the cost is too much, and I just can't afford them.

I would like a larger visual, but I can't use a poster-sized one. A mini-poster would be as big as I would go. I'd prefer one which fits into a notebook or a purse, like 8"x10" or 5"x7".

Take orders first, then print posters and prayer cards according to your customers' needs. The above sample is well-done.

It reminds me of the creed we say in the Byzantine Rite.

Trust in Jesus and He will help you.

God Bless your work!

I have a prayer card with the revised Creed on it and that is perfect for individual prayer. However, the large sized laminated Creed above would be great for RCIA classes and as a study tool for Catechism classes.

I do NOT want a poster size, but would like to have several HOLY CARDS. I carry three Holy Cards in my wallet right now......one of which is a NICENE CREED. And how special it is.

I would prefer a holy card for the reasons already listed (with the creed written in Latin on the opposite side is probably asking too much ).

The creed is too long to fit on one side.

I think an individual could buy it for their church to post in the churches' foyers and thereby allowing many to see it and encourage them to buy one if only a smaller size..........I'd buy the poster and buy a smaller one because it is A BEAUTIFUL EXPRESSION OF OUR CATHOLIC FAITH!!!!!

I would buy a prayer card. Think item should be placed and read in every grade school.

I would purchase this vendor's posters of the Nicene Creed and the Apostle Creed for our 12 Christian Formation classrooms and adult formation classes plus our RCIA and RCIC groups at St. Thomas the Apostle parish in Amarillo, Texas. Having these wonder artist posters with our "articles of faith" would help to reinforce how important they are to our the foundation of our faith.

To me, if it's revised, it's changed from the original. Why would any true Catholic want a "revised" something? The prayers of the church are fine as they are, and "revised" labels it as something modernist.

Thank you for letting me know. That changes things a bit, perhaps for my homeschool "classroom".

Actually, the revisions are making them closer the Latin text so they will be less "modernist".

I agree w/ others that size is too large for home display. I enjoy prayer cards and have many so would enjoy this size. I also agree w/ Kate that if poster used in class setting, the lettering could be dominant instead of artwork, I personally do not like the wording as it does not flow as well and some lines are confusing. Not a cradle Catholic either......

I would not buy these. Someday I would like to have prayer posters for my homeschool classroom, but I don't like the design of these. There's too much going on. The words need to be front and center, and the images smaller and simpler. On the Nicene Creed poster, the background for the words ought to be solid white, in my opinion. Posters are not useful if they're difficult to read.

I would probably not buy the poster. It seems this should be for Churches, CCD, Confirmation, RCIA classrooms and/or Catholic schools. I would consider a holy card.

I would not need the large poster size; but would love to have prayer card or missal size ones.

The poster is too big. I would buy a laminated 8 x 10, and also a smaller size to put in my purse.

I probably would not buy a poster like this, it is too large and I would have no place to hang it. I would, however, purchase something smaller, like a prayer card that I could carry with me. I think that something as this, and it is beautiful, would be beneficial and purchased by our churches or Catholic schools to hang on the wall and used for religious instructions.

The cost is prohibitive for our poor parish. A non-laminated version for classroom may be of interest.

I would not buy a poster size but would be interested in Holy Card size. I don't think your "average" Catholic wants a poster size, what would you do with it? Would be good for classrooms or something like that.

I probably would not but I would buy a small prayer card size.
