I learned something interesting about Passion Sunday last week. The Sunday doesn’t exist as such in the Ordinary Form of the Mass. In the Extraordinary Form, the Sunday before Palm Sunday was called Passion Sunday. On this Sunday, the “Glory be, to the Father, etc…” was dropped from the liturgy until the Easter Vigil.
