The vision for Fr Kino’s Corner came to owners Donn & Andy Corder in April 2005. The doors opened in September 2005 to a growing population in the southeast section of Tucson, Arizona. Located on the southwest corner of Golf Links Road and Kolb Rd, we are situated in the Rolling Hills Plaza, next to the Brake Max, around the corner from Fry’s.

Fr Kino’s Corner strives to bring trusted Catholic material to the faithful at affordable prices. As a new Catholic Book and Gift store, we are working hard on expanding our in-store inventory and offering more titles, authors and gifts at every opportunity.

Fr Kino’s Corner is owned and operated by Donn & Andy Corder. Both of us have chosen the Catholic faith as an adult.

The store is named in honor of Fr Eusebio Kino, Missionary to Primeria Alta in the late 1600s. Traveling on horseback, Fr Kino traversed the area which now comprises Southern Arizona and Northern Mexico, establishing missions throughout the area. Several of the churches established by Fr Kino are in use today, including San Xavier del Bac. His grave was discovered in 1966 in Magdalena de Kino. Visit the store and see the wall-sized map of Fr Kino’s mission travels and the 8-foot mural of Noah’s ark. Relax in our reading corner and browse a copy of your favorite Catholic magazine. Our store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm.
